As if Dj Fresh’s timeless “Gold Dust” wasn’t one of the most repeat-worthy dance cuts of the modern day, you now have six new variations to chew through to celebrate the track’s 10th anniversary. Calling on Marten Hørger, Krafty Kuts, Dutty Moonshine, and more DJ Fresh has dropped a remix EP via Breakbeat Kaos that breathes new life into the enduring original cut. The three new releases form the full pack alongside previous single drops from Skepsis, Fox Stevenson, and Bou & Used, amassing more than 1 million streams since release.
UK bass, bass-house, dubstep, and drum ‘n’ bass elements are all present throughout the EP’s tracklist, adding a whole new dimension to the original composition. Marten Hørger truly took the challenge and ran with it, combining influences from classic house, techno and bass music for perhaps the EP’s standout inclusion. Best of all though, the new remix EP demonstrates that some tracks, certainly including “Gold Dust” truly never go out of style.
