One of Dancing Astronaut‘s Artists to Watch for 2023 has made their way to Tomorrowland Music. And that name is Goom Gum, who have matched up alongside Sevenn for a majestic original. Although “Music” holds a simplistic title, the intrinsic layering of chords beside an impassioned melody has equated to Tomorrowland Music’s next great hybrid.
The label debut marks yet another feat for Goom Gum, who have quickly ascended in melodic techno and beyond through a career reaching back to only 2018 as they continue to explore their identity within different sub-genres of techno, house, and trance. And on the other side of the production, Sevenn brings many years of experience, with some of his most-well known songs coming from the Brazilian bass genre. “Music” can’t necessarily be categorized as a melodic-techno song but it also doesn’t fit into the mold of traditional Brazilian bass. Instead, “Music” slows down the tempo to result in a song that will be sure to provide awe in both artists’ tracklists. “Music” is ready to stream below.
