Habstrakt turns longtime ID into debut album’s second single, ‘Vision’

“Fuck it. Album time.” Back in August of 2022, Hasbstrakt put it into existence that a full-length project under his name would be happening. And this past January, he confirmed that it’d be officially completed. A couple of weeks later and Habstrakt is now continuing to add to what will undoubtedly be his most expansive effort to date, turning in the “Outer Space” follow-up with yet another promising bass-house single, “Vision.”

Following up the currently unnamed LP’s first single with Roderick Porter, the French native uses “Vision” to pay tribute to his trek from Europe to the US. in 2017 and is guaranteed to be a new fan-favorite across his sets. Habstrakt explained that he had a literal vision for it although he wasn’t able to perfect it in the way he wanted. But that all changed this past October when he became inspired during his time in Amsterdam for ADE, opting to completely overhaul it into the version that reaches streaming platforms today. With a global touring run set to kick off in March—including 25 dates that span the United States, Europe, and Asia—there’s no question we’ll be getting a further taste of Habstrakt’s debut album as he continues to enforce his placement as one of bass-house’s finest. Stream “Vision” below.
