MEDUZA have undoubtedly secured a position as one of 2023’s most in-demand names. For the trio’s first appearance of the year, they’ve partnered up alongside Eli & Fur. While the duo are no strangers to Anjunadeep, MEDUZA have been a welcome newcomer to the Above & Beyond-backed imprint, now building upon their label debut from December of 2022—”Sparks” with DEL-30 and Mali-Koa—with an ID that’s been top-of-mind for many this past year, “Pegasus.”
Knocking one of two of MEDUZA’s most-anticipated releases off the release board—”Everything You Have Done” being the other—”Pegasus” was originally constructed during the pandemic and made its debut during their Friendship mix for Tomorrowland in mid-2020. “Pegasus” is built for late-night club hours, intertwining a hybrid of progressive and melodic house that sits behind a passionate, angelic vocal and chilling lead, almost reminiscent of MEDUZA’s chart-topper, “Lose Control.” Having remained a massive set weapon for both artists across 2022’s festival circuit and beyond, “Pegasus” was more than worth the wait.
