Pendulum are finally back again. For their first release since their Elemental EP from two years ago, Rob Swire, Gareth McGrillen, Peredur ap Gwynedd, and KJ Sawka have recruited Bullet For My Valentine‘s Matt Tuck with the intention of creating music that “sounds like the apocalypse.” And that’s brought to life through “Halo,” with Swire adding that it comes “closer than ever before.”
Revitalizing the Pendulum hype in anticipation for their upcoming European festival tour, “Halo” brings out a raw energy between both sides, allowing the band to explore into the depths between hardcore rock and drum ‘n’ bass. And Matt Tuck’s intense, vigorous vocals superbly compliment Pendulum’s guitar riffs and slamming drums for a one-of-a-kind single.
