It’s almost Easter Sunday, and Kanye West is reportedly planning a special Sunday Service to practice social distancing and celebrate. According to sources, American pastor Joel Osteen will be joining West alongside other influential artists for his annual Easter service.
Special guests will include Mariah Carey, performing her song “Hero” via Webcam as a “special tribute to medical professionals and first responders” battling the COVID-19 pandemic. Additionally, Tyler Perry is set to join the mix, to offer condolences and words of encouragement to those who are struggling during these tough times.
Kanye West will return to an Osteen lead-service, having joined the pastor at his Lakewood Church in Houston for a large gathering in November 2019, featuring his Sunday Service choir to provide the soundtrack. Their performance will be broadcast from LA over Osteen’s feed (details as to whether it’s live or prerecorded are still uncertain). Updates on where to stream the festivities will follow.
