Drake has officially cemented his status as a global music powerhouse, setting a historic new record on the Australian ARIA charts. Following the release of his latest trio of projects, the Canadian superstar has become the first artist since the inception of the charts in 1983 to debut three separate albums within the top 10 during the same week.
The impressive feat was driven by the strong performance of his new releases: Iceman, which secured the No. 1 spot; Maid Of Honour, which debuted at No. 5; and Habibti, which entered the chart at No. 6. This achievement effectively eclipses previous milestones held by legendary acts such as Guns N’ Roses and Bruce Springsteen, both of whom managed to debut two albums in the top 10 simultaneously during the early 1990s.
With these latest entries, Drake now boasts a total of 16 solo and collaborative top 10 albums in Australia. His extensive catalog of chart-topping successes in the region includes acclaimed projects such as Views, Scorpion, Dark Lane Demo Tapes, Certified Lover Boy, and For All The Dogs.
The momentum did not stop at the album charts. Drake also dominated the ARIA Singles Chart, placing 15 songs within the Top 50. Notably, five of those tracks—”National Treasures,” “Janice STFU,” “Whisper My Name,” “Make Them Cry,” and “Dust”—secured positions within the top 10, further highlighting the widespread reach of his latest musical output.
