Sisko Electrofanatik’s Gain Records presents a record label debut from Georgia Lee who drops a dark and driving techno single called ‘Distorted Love’.
The release also includes remixes by Sisko Electrofanatik and Ida Mandato.
All of the people who feature on this release are Italian artists based in Rome, and each of them brings something different to this techno release.
Georgia Lee is an established DJ within Rome’s local scene, and she has been a resident DJ and regular performer at many of the city’s best underground venues and events. She plays a mix of styles, and this release represents the harder side of her taste. “Distorted Love” is an industrial track with heavy percussion and acid synths.
First of the remixes comes from Sisko Electrofanatik who alongside being the Gain Records owner, is also known for his releases on imprints such as Alan Fitzpatrick’s We Are The Brave and Monika Kruse’s Terminal M. His remix thickens the overall sound, and works in some dramatic synth stabs, plus a euphoric breakdown.
Ida Mandato provides the second remix, and it’s in the EBM/industrial style that she has made her trademark. Her industrial percussion and additional acid line give the track an ominous sound that ramps up the intensity.
