LF System gears up for their debut offering on Insomniac Records with the infectious “All I’ve Got,” a certified disco house anthem poised to sweep the dancefloor right off its feet.
Hailing from Scotland, LF System is the production duo fronted by its masterminds Conor Larkman and Sean Finnigan, a viral-powered project that’s enjoyed swift success throughout both the disco and house scenes alike. The boys have enjoyed a textbook meteoric rise in the last couple of years, and they’re striking with another immaculate house cut as their label debut on Insomniac Records, which finds them reprising a veritable house jewel from NYC legend Lenny Fontana and Chicago house royalty Byron Stingily.
“All I’ve Got” deftly balances its vintage inspirations with a modern sensibility, simmering with uncontrollable desire and serving up all one could ever want from a disco house track. Its smoky vocal hook spills over with soul, fusing its diva choir with a jackin’, supercharged groove. Sashaying brass leads, funky basslines, and wah-powered guitar rhythms work in perfect harmony to bring the signature elated energy that put LF System on the map in the first place.
LF System confirms that “All I’ve Got” arose from the excitement of working with two staples from the golden era of house music.
“It was such an honor to be asked to work with Lenny Fontana and Byron Stingily, they say. “So, when the opportunity arose to re-edit a track of theirs, we jumped on it straight away, and the final results came around quickly,”
“We didn’t want to take away too much away from the original, so we added a touch of our LF System sound, in order to beef it up for the big stages. We’ve been hammering it at every gig since last summer. We’re buzzing to get it out, and we’re also equally excited for our first release with Insomniac.”
“All I’ve Got” sees LF System leaving their unique stamp on a dancefloor favorite that’s long been beloved amongst cratediggers for years on end. However, this success is certainly not a one-off occasion. Widely celebrated amongst disco aficionados, the Scottish pair blew the roof off the house circuit with one of the most iconic tracks to emerge from recent memory, with “Afraid To Feel” crowned the longest-running #1 UK dance track from the past decade, earning huge radio support from BBC Radio 1, Capital Dance, KISS, Triple J, Sirius XM, KCRW, and many more.
