The Junkyard Revival Is Bringing The Iconic Junkyard Stage To San Diego For One Night Only

Some experiences are too good to leave behind, and the Junkyard is one of those. It’s a home for late-night connection, art, and dance floor magic, and on Saturday, July 11, its spirit comes roaring back to life. The Junkyard Revival is bringing the Junkyard Revival to a secret San Diego location for one night only, bringing the full energy, art, and immersive sound that made the original stage so special.

The Revival is a collaboration between three of San Diego’s most exciting collectives: AMA Sounds, BODEGA, and The Usual Suspects. Each group has played a pivotal role in shaping the local electronic music community. AMA Sounds has cultivated a following through curated events centered on connection, while BODEGA provides a distinct creative perspective for house and techno purists. The Usual Suspects have spent years bridging the gap between local talent and international underground artists. Together, they are recreating the immersive world of the Junkyard for one unforgettable night.

A Legendary Lineup

Leading the charge is a roster of artists who defined this year’s Junkyard experience. GiZ, Nico Moon, and Patricio are all returning to deliver the standout sets that helped cement the stage’s legendary status. GiZ brings dark, bass-driven tracks that defy genre boundaries, while Nico Moon, founder of The Hall and co-founder of Sensations, brings a fluid style that moves between indie dance and house. Patricio, the architect behind the Junkyard sound, brings his decades of experience to ensure the dance floor remains energized throughout the night.

The lineup is rounded out by the extended Junkyard family, including Tyler Chase, Zohar, Mario Lui, Peopfit, and Polk. Each artist brings a unique blend of genres, from Afro-house and minimal to melodic techno, ensuring a diverse sonic journey until sunrise.

The Return of an Iconic Sound System

Sound is at the core of any Junkyard show, and for this revival, the organizers are bringing back an iconic sound system. For over 50 years, Turbosound has been at the forefront of professional audio. In the 1990s, a flagship Turbosound system became a foundational element of the Desert Renegade scene. After years of careful restoration by Monoloco of The Usual Suspects, this historic system is ready to return, promising the powerful low end and crystal-clear detail that defined the original experience.

The Junkyard Revival takes place on Saturday, July 11, starting at 9:30 pm. The secret location will be revealed to ticket holders. Tickets are available at this link.
