The 44-year-old rap legend revealed the news during a video shared on September 28, which was originally intended to celebrate his longtime associate B.G. and his own recent engagement to Brooke Jones.
While appearing in the clip to offer well-wishes to his fellow Hot Boys member, the Young Money founder pivoted to his own relationship status. Addressing B.G., Wayne introduced his partner to the camera, stating, “Congratulations, bitch. And I’m marrying this one. This is Madison.”
The rapper left no room for ambiguity, explicitly referring to her as his fiancée while joking about wedding details and his role as the best man for B.G.’s upcoming nuptials. The announcement serves as a sharp reversal from his stance in July, when he took to social media to explicitly deny being engaged. At that time, he had claimed that while he had been seeing an "amazing person," he had ended the relationship to avoid bringing external pressures into her life.
