Moneybagg Yo Stands Up For Ari Fletcher Amid Vogue Controversy

While Ari Fletcher and her friends were busy celebrating her recent feature in British Vogue, other social media users saw no other alternative than to take a jab at her most recent look.

Most recently, Fletcher could be seen modeling in a feature, highlighting Atlanta-based Haus of Traviance womenswear brand. To commemorate the moment, she took to Instagram to take pride in her moment.

“Really at a lost for words! Ari for VOGUE @britishvogue 😩🔥 So thankful,” she penned. “Huge thanks to @hausoftraviance for helping me be apart of this amazing magic. You work so hard and it shows through every piece of fabric you touch. The official release is April and I just found out today that I’ll be in the May issue as well. WOW 🥺❤️ I can’t wait to give all my family and friends official copies of the magazine. The idea of this look is “Urban Editorial” so dope! S/O out to the team @kvn.luong @arrogant_tae123 @iamminklittle @shawnhannaofficial @dr8nn.”

Soon, however a few inconsistencies threatened to outshine her moment. Most notably, the image used was edited with the Vogue masthead which led fans to believe that Fletcher was on the magazine’s cover though she was not. Soon after, an Instagram page–now found to be a fake–belonging to an alleged fashion editor of the magazine attmepted to discredit Fletcher in the same way.

“People are truly sick. It’s so sad that people actually try to steal people joy. Play with the internet all you want, this is chess not checkers,” Ari penned in a tweet in response to the fake page.

All the while, she continued to bask in her moment and her boyfriend Moneybagg Yo was next in line to come to her defense.

“@AriTheDon Dey don’t wanna see u do good or better than dem fuck em let em kno u just getting started more pressure OTW!” he wrote on Twitter.
