Earlier this summer the Norwegian songwriter and producer Joki released his debut track’ Tequila Libra, on Sony Music Germany’s NITRON Music.
His latest release ‘Buy A Castle’ is the follow up in a string of releases coming this year that are propelling Joki into the electronic dance world. After establishing himself behind the scenes with major artists across various genres, Joki now steps into the spotlight as a solo act, showcasing his dynamic urban dance sound.
With a rich history of producing for acclaimed acts like Britney Spears, Zara Larsson, 44phantom, and XXXTENTACION, Joki’s transition back to dance is a testament to his versatility. His unique, fast-paced, urban dance sound is a refreshing addition to the electronic dance world.
With his first single, ‘Tequila Libra, ‘ a 150bpm anthem that samples the iconic ‘Alors on Danse’, Joki infused the track with heavy basslines and a powerful rap vocal. For his latest single, ‘Buy A Castle,’ Joki aims to build on his newly engaged dancefloor-driven formula. Showcasing himself as a producer of versatile range, he explores an avalanche of sounds and ideas, opening a new creative direction with his music.
