Carl Cox and Amelie Lens to feature on upcoming Beirut fundraiser

Electronic Labor Day and Beatport ReConnect team up on For Beirut, a 12-hour digital fundraiser to show support for the Lebanese capital city after it was shaken by a catastrophic explosion last month. The event takes place on Sunday, September 13 from 6:58 a.m. to p.m. EST, starting with a minute of silence for those lost in the blast just 40 days prior.

The musical lineup is nothing short of stacked, with around 100 artists from around the world, from Pete Tong and Carl Cox to Amelie Lens and the iconic Derrick May. The real focus, however, is on showing support for Beirut, which is facing more than $15 billion dollars in material damage alone after last month’s explosion. For Beirut has a goal of raising $500,000 and will be distributing the funds in the form of medical supplies and structural relief.

Visit Electronic Labor Day‘s official website for more information about For Beirut’s fundraising initiatives and full lineup.
