On November 13 and 14, Adult Swim hosted their first ever live streamed festival. Entitled Adult Swim Festival, the YouTube-streamed event featured a diverse array of musical and artistic events, including everything from the premiere of a new Run The Jewels music video to a live Aqua Teen Hunger Force panel with Thundercat.
Highlighting the extensive list of live acts are two electronic acts with distinctly different sounds. On day 1 of the festival, veteran artist Tycho performed a chilled-out thirty minute set, showing off his lengthy career by performing his 2011 track “Adrift” alongside his 2020 single “Outer Sunset” among others. On the second day, KAYTRANADA took over the decks to spin a funky DJ set as only he can, simultaneously sneaking a couple unreleased cuts into the mix.
