Knock2, NGHTMRE bring bass-house and trap together on ‘One Chance’ with Marlhy

Another one of Dancing Astronaut‘s most-anticipated IDs of 2023 has officially been crossed off the board. Exactly a year ago—almost to the day—Knock2 was joined by NGHTMRE during his debut headlining show at The Catwalk in Los Angeles. And they weren’t letting any more time pass before making the decision to turn their ROOM202 ID loose, teaming up alongside Marlhy for the delivery of “One Chance.”

Everyone knew from the moment Knock2 and NGHTMRE let “One Chance” reverberate through the packed-out venue in Los Angeles that it was a crossover meant to happen. And “One Chance” wholly embodies the what it means for a collaboration to be evenly split, with both Dancing Astronaut‘s reigning co-Breakout Artist of the Year and NGHTMRE chaining together an electric merger between bass-house and trap behind a chilling vocal from Marlhy. Both Knock2 and NGHTMRE spoke on how “One Chance” came to be, explaining,

“i’m soo happy we could get this record out to all of u this summer. thx for waiting so patiently???? every time i got to play this live, it felt more n more special. its such a crazy dream to work with tyler.. big big up to the bro for bringin me out every chance he got so we could rinse itt and s/o marlhy for cutting the sickest vox. keep this one on repeat til i see u again!love y’all always.” – Knock2

“As soon as I first heard Richards music I knew he was going to revitalize the sound that originally made me fall in love with dance music. I was eager to work with him on ‘one chance’ and he single-handedly took the track to another level. I’m so so proud to be a part of this record and grateful that the amazing @iammarlhy wrote such a perfect vocal. We hope you all love this one as much as we love it!!”
