‘Grown-ish’ Star Diggy Simmons Reveals He’s Ready To Find His Soulmate

Diggy Simmons is one of Hollywood’s most promising young stars. Many grew up with Simmons on his family’s hit show on MTV, “Run’s House.” From there he transitioned into a number of endeavors including fashion, acting, and rapping. He currently stars in Freeform’s hit college drama, Grown-ish.

Simmons, Tiffany Haddish, and more recently teamed up with Bumble (online dating app) for a series of videos. Throughout the series, the audience taps into the mind of the 25-year-old entertainer. First, he opens up on “Don’t Text Your Ex,” where he shares a relevant July 4th experience of romantic backtracking. He follows “Don’t Text Your Ex” with “The Question Game.” During the game, the audience learns about Simmons’ ideal date, his desire to have a big family similar to his parents, writing his first rap at 13-year-old and more.

Over the past year, Diggy has taken the time to reflect, as well as get back to his passion for making music.

“That was a big part of my 2020,” said the multi-talented star. “I don’t want to say who I’ve been working with….. but great they are people.”

The New York native took his talents to Los Angeles to further pursue his musical endeavors. According to Simmons, his next project is going to be full of “soul and truth.” While there is no estimated time arrival for the project, it certainly builds anticipation. He released his last full-length album, Lighten Up back in 2018.
