JAY-Z announces Made in America's return, event's 10th anniversary

As festivals continue their comeback following the pandemic’s forced cancellations, JAY-Z has announced the return of Made in America for the festival’s ninth iteration and 10th anniversary this September. Returning to Philadelphia’s Benjamin Franklin Parkway, the event will take place September 4 – 5, with tickets currently on sale and a lineup expected to be announced in the coming months. Speaking on the festival, JAY-Z said,

“We are thrilled to announce Made in America 2021 on the legendary Benjamin Franklin Parkway. This year will be like no other, as Made in America celebrates 10 years of music history-making moments. The artists’ performances will be even bigger and Cause Village will host a wider range of amazing philanthropic organizations. We look forward to sharing incredible memories with our festival attendees and the city of Philadelphia.”

The festival has generated ore than $135 million in charity for the city of Philadelphia, with Cause Village acting as a means to help raise awareness for various organizations. Pennsylvania’s ACLU acts as Made in America’s official charity partner, with proceeds for this year expected to go towards the REFORM Alliance.
