After countless festivals across the nation postponed or canceled their 2020 iterations amid the coronavirus pandemic, the first festival season of the decade appeared to be a wash. Then, event promoter, Disco Donnie, announced the haunting return of Texas’ Freaky Deaky.
Slated for October 30-31, 2020, the Houston-based festival recently revealed a lineup comprising more than 50 artists for Halloween weekend, including deadmau5, Claude VonStroke, Galantis, Zeds Dead, Flux Pavillion, among many others. Notably, the two-day festival’s roster of talent also boasts elusive back-to-back sets from artists like J.Worra and VNSSA, Adventure Club and Snails, and 12th Planet and Riot Ten.
In addition to the festival’s return, Freaky Deaky has announced the debut of its camping program, which will newly provide attendees with the option to set-up campsites with tents, cars, or RVs.
Freaky Deaky’s lineup and camping plan reveal comes shortly after mega-festivals Lollapalooza and Coachella officially cancelled their 2020 editions, choosing instead to plot their respective returns in 2021. Tickets for Freaky Deaky are now on-sale and can be purchased here.
