SLANDER reveal Starbase Music Festival will happen this October in South Carolina – Mix Session

In the midst of their Sunset Music Festival performance, SLANDER dropped the announcement bomb that they were finally advancing their festival idea tweet from June 2020 into a tangible reality for this upcoming fall. SLANDER have now made the news official, revealing Starbase Music Festival will make its grand debut in Charleston, South Carolina on October 8 – 9, 2021.

While no concrete lineup information was made available at the time of the announce—aside from SLANDER’s confirmation that they’ll be performing “multiple times” throughout the weekend and Gud Vibrations affiliate WAVEDASH’s teaser that they’ll appear on the schedule—Starbase Music Festival will undoubtedly showcase some of bass music’s most in-demand names as it sets foot deep within Charleston’s stunning The Woodlands Nature Reserve. SLANDER shared a message behind the intent of developing their very own festival, stating,

“Starbase was an idea we had a few years back of creating a place where all our artist friends could come together, hang out, and play music for like-minded people. A place where everyone is accepted and loved. A place where you can open your heart, let go of all problems, and rage harder than you ever have before. A place where emotion meets power. We are so grateful this idea is now reality, and we can’t wait to feel the love that will be generated at Starbase. This is our biggest endeavor yet and our end goal with Starbase is to bring more light into this world. We love you all so much. Superhumans, welcome home!”

Tickets for Starbase will be available here, starting on Thursday, June 17.
