Nurko completes road to ‘Discovery’ on fifth and final piece with James Gillespie

Nurko has officially made his Discovery. Throughout the previous half-year, the former Dancing Astronaut Artist to Watch has made the most of his newly inked signing with Astralwerks. And after a quartet of previews that led off in August of 2022 and ran up until May of 2023—“Eternity” with Dayce Williams, “Too Long” with Cruel Youth, “Save Me (From Myself)” with Kyle Hume, and lastly “Love Is A Highway” with NERIAH—Nurko has the fifth and final puzzle pieces to his second-ever EP.

All four of its predecessors held that same high-level degree of melodic bass preeminence that Nurko has been revered for time and time again, each offering their own perspective on his immediately recognizable production stamp. And to put the finishing touches on Discovery, Nurko turns that pattern loose for a fifth consecutive cycle, recruiting the help of James Gillespie on “Art Of Letting Go.” The two find themselves matched up on an emotion-soaked gem of melodic bass that freely pairs Gillespie and Nurko as Nurko continues to polish and perfect his position as one of the genre’s finest. With his coinciding EP run set to kick off in about a week, hold yourself over with all five Discovery cuts below.
