Rising DJs can compete for a slot at Dirtybird's 'Couchout' festival thanks to the collective's new mix competition

Prospective DJs now have the opportunity to perform at house music’s “Dirtybird Couchout,” the livestream replacement for the collective’s annual in-person event, Dirtybird Campout.

Claude VonStroke and Dirtybird company recently announced the launch of a mix competition where DJs can vie for the chance to play at Dirtybird Couchout. Submissions are due Friday night at 12:00 a.m. EST / 9:00 p.m. PST. A winner will be announced October 2. Contestants are required to submit a 30 to 60 minute YouTube video of themselves DJing a Dirtybird Campout-themed set and will also need to submit a tracklist along with their video.

The top 10 finalists will be reviewed and judged by head honcho VonStroke himself to reveal the top contestant. The winner and two runners-up will get two tickets to the next Dirtybird Campout, a Dirtybird swag bag, and a week-long digital run as a “Featured Livestream Creator” on OnNow.tv’s platform, where competitors are to turn in their mixes.
